PROJECTS

Currently, Michiana Watershed continues its service to the community by monitoring conditions, events, and legislation that may have an impact on the local natural resources and by providing a forum during regularly scheduled monthly meetings for the consideration of new and innovative projects to continue to impove or preserve our local natural environment.

We are always in need of volunteers interested in helping to promote these projects' development. Contact us if interested!

1. Bike/Pedestrian Trails

2. Michiana Paddlefest

3. Rails-To-Trails Conversion

4. Hoosier Riverwatch

5. River Quest

6. Juday Creek, restoration and maintenance monitoring

7. St. Joe River Banks, participation in annual trash removal

8. Administration--we are searching for a Michiana Watershed secretary and treasurer.
